If you only download one thing on this list (and you should download it all), make sure it’s Mar’s incredible debut, “Seeing Her Naked.” It’s the best thing I’ve heard all month and it’s sure to be one of the best free EPs of 2012. This is Contemporary R&B at its finest.

It was a really quality week for free independent Soul Music. Sad to report that 3 Beat Tapes failed to make the list due to the fact that they started out free and then became paid downloads. Perhaps because they reached their download limits, I don’t know. But they are quality records, so keep your eyes peeled in case they come up free again.

This coming week, Robert Glasper will release his latest, “Black Radio.” I think this is going to be a groundbreaking record. In anticipation for it, Robert made his track “Move Love” featuring King available for remixing. There are a number of fabulous submissions that I recommend you check out on his Indaba Music page. Since I’m focusing on fewer selections for the blog, I wanted to give you all some ammunition for finding your own new music online.
